There are several bars and restaurants within walking distance of the villa including the 4 star hotel Marinas de Nerja. Nerja's lively town centre is around a 5 mins drive or 30 mins walk along the coastal road or beach, where there are many superb restaurants, shops and beaches. A weekly street market visits the town where you can browse the local wares. Located close to the town are the magnificant Nerja caves.
The pretty village of Frigiliana is a short drive inland where you can explore the historic cobbled streets and maybe sample the local wine.

Tour operators based in Nerja offer day excursions to Seville, Granada, Alhambra Palace, Ronda, Cordoba, Puerta Banus, Gibraltar, Morroco and the Sierra Alpujarras. They also offer specialist trips such as Dolphin watching boat trips from Gibraltar with coach connection (highly recommended by us) and flamenco and BBQ night excursions.
