El Paso Dos is approximately 45 minutes drive from Malaga Airport along the motorway. Nerja is also accessible from Granada Airport which takes around 90 minutes to 2 hours by car. Flights to Granada can be extremely cheap with some budget airlines.

Public transport is economical and reliable with buses running from the airport to Malaga City every 30 minutes and from Malaga to Nerja at least once per hour. The Malaga to Nerja bus service stops outside the Marinas De Nerja Hotel which is only a 5 minute walk from the villa.
El Paso Dos is situated in the small community of Residential El Paso on the quiet residential area of Punta Lara 2 km west of Nerja town centre.
There is a regular local bus service running along the coast between Nerja and Torre Del Mar. This service stops outside the Hotel Marinas De Nerja which is only a 5 minute walk from the villa. Local buses also run eastwards from Nerja town to Maro, Almunacar, Motril and Granada as well as up in to the local hills to the pretty white village of Frigiliana.
A walk in to Nerja town centre takes about 30 minutes along the pavements of the coast road or along the beachside track passing a couple of beachside restaurants known as chiringhitos. Both routes are well lit at night. A taxi ride from Nerja town centre takes about 5 minutes.
The urbanisation of Punta Lara, Tropicana and Casablanca is within a 5 minute walk of several restaurants serving Spanish and English food, some providing regular evening entertainment.
Within a 10 minute walk is the four star Hotel Marinas De Nerja in which non-residents are welcome to use the facilities although for some of the facilities such as the spa there is a charge.
The local beach, also a 10 minute walk, has a restaurant where you can dabble your feet in the sand and watch the children play from the comfort of your table. The restaurant is open till late so you can dine whilst watching the moonlit Mediterranean until the late hours with only a short walk back to the villa.
